How FoT works

Round I

Round II

School Level

Eligibility:
Class XI, XII, and drop year students, in teams of 1 to 4. Entry is free.

Business stage:
Can be at any stage, from ideation to revenue generating.

Submission:
Register your team and send in your business idea as a word document, power point presentation or in video format.

Qualification:
Top 10 teams from each region qualify to regionals

Prizes:
Qualifying teams win Rs. 5,000 each. Each team member gets 1-on-1 career guidance from industry experts, and recognition by IVB as Top 100 Upcoming Business Leader.

Regional Level

Cities:
There will be six regions: Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata. Teams can register to the closest region.

Eligible participants:
‍Top 10 teams from each region from the 1st round will compete at regionals

Presentation:
Participants will pitch online to our expert jury, with a 8 minute pitch and 5 minute Q&A

Qualification:
Top 2 teams from each region qualify for nationals

Prizes:
Qualifying teams win Rs. 20,000 each. Each member gets direct admission to IVB and additional funding if joining IVB, and recognition as Top 25 Upcoming Business Leader.

National Level

Participants:
Top 2 teams from each region

Location:
IVB Campus in Chennai (at Express Avenue Chambers)

Mentorship:
Teams will receive mentorship from IVB experts to fine-tune their idea and pitch

Final Pitch:
Teams pitch in the grand finale to a panel of celebrity judges including renowned entrepreneurs.

Prizes:
Chance to win cash prize of up-to 3 lakhs. Winning members get a scholarship to join IVB, additional funding if joining IVB, awarded as Upcoming Founder of Tomorrow, and guidance to build their personal brand.
